Amatsiko School
Your Journey, Their Future
At Amatsiko Tours, we believe travel should create a lasting impact—not just for you, but for the people and places you encounter. When you travel with us, you’re not just exploring Uganda, you’re directly supporting over 400 children at Amatsiko School.
What is Amatsiko School?
Founded to provide a safe and nurturing environment for orphans and vulnerable children, Amatsiko School offers much more than education. Many students have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS and, without this school, would have no access to learning or daily meals. Amatsiko School provides not only education, but also meals and a sense of hope for the future.
Over 400 children educated at Amatsiko School in the last decade.
The school ensures that children not only receive an education but also three nutritious meals a day, ensuring they can focus on learning.
Your monthly support helps empower families, creating a ripple effect across the region.
How Your Tour Funds the School
When you book a tour, 20% of your fee goes directly towards running Amatsiko School. This means your trip funds meals, learning materials, and the resources these children need to thrive. As part of your journey, you’ll also have the opportunity to visit the school, meet the children, and see the difference your travel is making.
Want to help even more? Spend time volunteering—you don’t need to be a teacher! Share activities you love, like art, games, or gardening, and connect with students in a way that suits you. Past travellers have helped build a library, planted gardens, and even constructed a basketball hoop for the playground.
Help Us Do More
$50 Can Change a Child’s Life
In addition to the support from tours, we’re seeking 65 people to donate $50 per month to ensure the school can continue its incredible work. With just $50 a month, you can provide meals and education for a child, giving them the tools they need for a brighter future.
Join us in creating brighter futures. Every adventure you take is a step toward lasting change.
Why This Matters
Education is a powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty. By travelling with Amatsiko Tours, you’re directly contributing to this mission. Your journey isn’t just about seeing the beauty of Uganda—it’s about shaping its future.
