Arrival and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Halfway to Lake Mburo, pause at the Equator—a perfect spot for cultural demonstrations, fascinating photo opportunities, and a taste of Uganda’s vibrant roadside life.

Arriving at your lodge, enjoy a freshly prepared local lunch before heading out on an evening game drive. As the golden light spills across the savannah, keep your eyes open for zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, and a variety of birdlife. It’s the perfect introduction to Uganda’s wildlife, ending with a peaceful return to your lodge for dinner and a well-earned rest.

Day 2

Walking Safari, Boat Cruise & Transfer to Kibale Forest

Start your day with a guided walking safari, feeling the thrill of being on foot in the wild. With your guide leading the way, you’ll have the rare chance to observe wildlife up close, from grazing antelope to curious zebras—an experience that stays with you long after you’ve left.

After breakfast, glide across Lake Mburo on a peaceful boat cruise. Watch hippos surface with a splash, spot crocodiles sunning themselves on the banks, and admire the dazzling birdlife that calls the lake home.

By midday, you’ll set off for Kibale Forest National Park. The drive is part of the adventure, winding through rolling green hills, lively villages, and endless stretches of tea plantations. Arriving in the evening, you’ll check into your lodge and enjoy dinner to the soundtrack of the rainforest’s nighttime chorus.

Day 3

Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary

This morning is dedicated to one of Uganda’s most unforgettable wildlife encounters—chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest. Guided by expert trackers, you’ll venture deep into the lush jungle, following the calls echoing through the trees until you come face-to-face with these energetic primates. Watch as they swing effortlessly from branch to branch, groom each other, and play in their natural habitat.

After lunch, the adventure continues with a visit to Bigodi Wetland, a sanctuary for birdwatchers and nature lovers alike. Keep your eyes peeled for the striking Great Blue Turaco, colorful butterflies, and playful monkeys moving through the canopy. For a deeper connection to the area, you may choose an optional village visit to learn how community-led conservation is protecting this unique ecosystem.

Crater Lakes Walk & Return to Entebbe

Begin your day with a guided nature walk through the beautiful Crater Lakes region, where emerald hills cradle shimmering volcanic lakes. Along the way, your guide will share the fascinating geology of the area, as well as local stories that bring the landscape to life. Keep your eyes open for colorful birdlife and the peaceful rhythms of rural Uganda.

After lunch, set off on a scenic 5–6 hour journey back to Entebbe. The drive takes you through rolling countryside, past farms, villages, and roadside markets—a final glimpse of everyday life in Uganda. Upon arrival, check into your guesthouse and relax, reflecting on the incredible moments and connections made during your journey.

Entebbe City Tour & Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a relaxed final morning in Entebbe. You might wander through the lush Entebbe Botanical Gardens, stroll along the shores of Lake Victoria, or browse local markets for handmade crafts and souvenirs.

Later, your guide will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your departure. As you board your flight, you’ll carry with you not only unforgettable memories of Uganda’s landscapes and wildlife, but also the knowledge that your journey helped support local communities and conservation efforts.
