Booking and Payment
Booking
All bookings must be made through our website or directly with an authorised representative of Amatsiko Tours.
Payment
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Payments can be made via PayPal, bank transfer, credit card, or TransferWise.
Currency
All payments are processed in USD.
Booking Confirmation
Once we receive your deposit, you will receive a booking confirmation email with details about your tour.
Prices and Charges
Prices listed on our website are in USD and are subject to change without notice. The price confirmed at the time of booking is final.
Additional charges may apply for optional activities or extra services requested during the tour. These charges will be communicated to you before confirming your booking.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation by You
If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Refunds will be processed based on the following cancellation policy:
• 30+ days before departure: 90% refund
• 15-29 days before departure: 50% refund
• Less than 15 days: No refund
Cancellation by Us
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., safety concerns, natural disasters), we will offer an alternative tour or a full refund.
Responsibilities and Conduct
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that you have valid travel documents (e.g., passport, visa) and for arriving at the meeting point at the scheduled time.
Conduct During the Tour
We ask that all guests respect local customs and follow the guidance of our tour leaders and local hosts. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the tour whose behaviour is disruptive or endangers others.
Health and Safety
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellations, and lost luggage.
Health Requirements
Some tours may involve physical activity. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in good health and fit for the tour. We reserve the right to deny participation if we believe a guest’s health may be at risk.
Liability
Amatsiko Tours will make reasonable efforts to ensure the safety and quality of your tour experience. However, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to property or person that occurs during the tour, except where required by law.
We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or expenses arising from events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, flight cancellations, or natural disasters.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our website and booking a tour, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the new terms will apply to all bookings made after the update.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
